Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels are in the lower YELLOW range Tuesday as warmer air makes its way into the Triad as an almost stationary, weak front sets up over the central part of NC. It produced light showers Tuesday morning and could produce more of the same over the next 24 hours. A stronger front will slide through the region Wednesday night and produce a true air mass change with colder temperatures filling in for Thursday and Friday. Even colder air will push in from the north for the weekend. Expect GREEN AQI levels to return Thursday and last through the weekend. (Bodenhamer)
