During the Month of November, Corporal McPherson-Clarke has gone above and beyond. She arrives to shift early to prepare assignments for the day. Corporal McPherson-Clarke assists others throughout the facility without hesitation. She also assists with the training of new officers. Corporal McPherson-Clarke has shown her dedication to the agency and the staff she serves daily. We would like to thank her for a job well done.
Officer Hargrove has excelled in adapting to his role in the Classification Department while continuing to perform effectively on the Special Response Team. Officer Hargrove possesses outstanding communication skills and has established a positive rapport with inmates who are typically challenging to engage. He takes the time to walk through the housing units with mental health services. This approach alleviates the burden on Security Officers assigned to that area while allowing them to gain insight into the needs of their assigned inmates, enabling them to address their requirements effectively. His ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure working environment for everyone at the Law Enforcement Detention Center does not go unnoticed. His strong work ethic and composed demeanor are why he is the Detention Staff Member of the Month.
