Susan Frye gives tirelessly of herself each day. Her efforts and work in the community cannot be placed into just one area of need. Her work ethic, networking skills, and her ability to communicate the needs of the people go far beyond simple assistance. She is a force multiplier for all the groups she serves whether working with Project Safe Neighborhoods to lower violence, or Partners Health Management to address social issues in the community, or going into neighborhoods to address basic needs such as food and clothing. Above and beyond her professional and personal work, Ms. Frye works with the Second Harvest Food Bank through her church to pass out food each month. Susan Frye has been a public servant all her life, happy to stay in the shadows, and ensure the mission is completed; never seeking public recognition. It is for these reasons, as well as a multitude of unmentioned others, that Susan Frye receives the Civilian Staff Member of the Month.
