Forsyth County 4-H’ers were recognized at their annual Achievement Night on Tuesday, February 8th with the 4-H Achievement Medal. Forsyth County began the program in 2007 and since that time, two 4-H’ers have worked their way up through the levels every year and have been awarded the Achievement Medal this year. They are Seth Barrick (17) and Nathan Barrick (16) sons of Michael and Melinda Barrick of Winston-Salem.

The 4-H Achievement Plan helps young people learn how to set goals, make plans to reach them, enrich their 4-H program experience, allows them to evaluate their own efforts and accomplishments and allows them to grow and develop their skills and personality. To be successful, 4-H’ers must be loyal to their 4-H club, county, state, nation, and world.
