North Central NC 4-H District Activity Day

Congratulations to all the Forsyth County 4-H’ers that participated in the 2010 North Central NC 4-H District Activity Day. Every single youth that participated earned a medal!

In the 4-H Entertains competition Laura Hutchins received a blue ribbon for her piano solo “Midnight” that she composed. Nathan Barrick also received a blue ribbon for his “Chicken Dance Medley” that he played on the accordion. Nathan was also asked to come back and perform at the afternoon assembly to the entire audience.

In the career poster contest Hope Arrowood earned a Gold medal in the 11-13 Year Old Category, winning silver medals were Seth Barrick in the 14-18 year old category and Abigail Mullis in the 14-18 Year Old category. Andrew Pledger was the Forsyth County winner in the 9-10 year old category.
